I've had two Torana's since I've had my licence, and four cars all together.
The demise of my first Torana makes for great conversation. The whole story
involves a wet road, a corner, a traffic sign, a lightpole, a steep enbankment,
and a tree. Use your imagination and I'm sure you'll come up with something
pretty close to how it actually happened. Nothing so fascinating happened
to the other cars I have owned. My first car was a Holden Camira (which
explains exactly why I got rid of it). The second was the ill-fated yellow
Torana. Next came the Ford XE Falcon (oi.. don't you Holden nuts out there
start callin me a traitor... I like the Fords too but I've come back to
a Holden now), and lastly another LX Torana. I dunno many other people
who were in their forth car before getting off P-plates. I scored the "Dedicated
Driver Award" at my high school graduation, after a teacher worked out
that at the rate I was going I would have owned and driven my 100th car
in 2030.
